In the summer of 2020. Blue Wind Aviation performed modification and modernization of aviation equipment:
- Removing all components of the available original radar system “Groza”
- Removing all mechanical components of the radar system (frames and trays)
- Design and manufacture of new mechanical components from sheet metal (frames, chassis, trays)
- Design and integration of a new radar system – RDR 2000
- Production and installation of a new cable plan
- Installation of a new multifunction display KMD 540
- Installation of a system for biaxial gyro stabilization of the radar system with VG-14A
